Hi! I’m Bella, it’s nice to meet you!

I have loved baking since I was a little girl, but it has taken a bit of a backburner in the later stages of my life. I thought I’d take to the internet to document and share my interest. The journal factory did, in fact, blow up, and in the interest of risk management, I am pivoting to online documentation!

Writing and baking are two of my most favorite hobbies. This is kind of a dream for me.

I grew up baking with my mom. She used to make chocolate chip cookies all the time, and I remember getting so excited when I smelled them in the oven. Back then, it felt like the bake time was TWO HOURS, and I was so shocked when I learned it was only 14 minutes!

Every Christmas, we would bake what felt like hundreds of cookies for our school teachers and administration. I have two siblings, so the number of people we baked for added up quick! I loved pretending to be a little elf with my sister. And the best part was definitely all the dough I consumed.

I am by no means a professional baker; I simply enjoy doing it. I don’t have a set plan, but I am excited about where this takes me and hope you are excited to come along.
